What is the weekend about?
It’s collaborative effort to create community. We want to bring creatives, adventures, and people who want to connect with like-minded people together in person and online. It’s educational, fun, and adventurous. It’s a way to meet and connect with others, and to learn from each other.
After two very successful Photography Workshops in Galway and Dublin, we decided to organise an adventure weekend, that has a focus on photography and creativity.
4 Days, 3 Nights of like-minded people coming together for adventure and photography.
who we are.
Tadhg O Brien
Tadhg is an outdoor creator who has been travelling and documenting his life for over 8 years.
Both his adventures and photography go hand in hand, and have progressed simultaneously. This has allowed him to develop his photography skills through trial and error. He has explored all corners of Ireland, getting to know his home country and finding the beauty in the small things.
He has a passion for sharing his love of the outdoors, and his knowledge of photography. This is achieved through workshops and retreats.
Gareth Laheen
Gareth has developed a beautiful photography style from travelling around his home of Ireland, and countries across the world. He creates pieces of art inspired by the beautiful world we live in, through solo adventuring and a collaboration with international creatives from around the world.
With years of photography and travel experience, paired with running his own retreats, he has a knowledge that would be valuable to anyone who gets to spend time with him.

Gareth and Tadhg have been running their own retreats for years now, and have combined this experience and knowledge to create an adventure and photography led weekend on the West of Ireland.
The weekend will bring like-minded people together for both adventures and photography focused experiences.
Who is this for?
Anyone who is looking to explore Ireland and to connect with others. We will have activities that takes the whole group on an adventures to explore the beautiful island of Ireland.
During these adventures we will be photographing, and encourage others to shoot also. We will answer any questions, and give guidance whenever needed. Taking photos is not a requirement, and you may just enjoy the adventure for what it is.
We will do editing sessions together, where everyone can practice and get hands on experience, with our guidance. Anyone not interested in this aspect may have some down time and do your own thing as there is so much to do around.

the adventure will be held in Achill Island, staying at Pure Magic Accommodation.
Achill Island is a beautiful island in Ireland that has so much to do around. During summer, this place is the perfect location to gather and explore together.
Breakfast is included. Lunch and Dinner are not included but we will suggest places to go each day. Pure Magic Lodge has a restaurant attached to it so food will be readily available.

€625 pp for a 4 bed sharing room :)
All activities are included, as well as breakfasts.
Lunch and Dinners are not included. Pure Magic Lodge has a restaurant attached to it, and there are plenty of cafes & restaurants very close by.
Transport to and from, and around the island are not included. We will carpool to save space at each location :)
